FAIRYTALE / PLAYER DOCUMENTS
Terms of use
Rules for using FairyTale, its online features, and the TerraCat Games website.
Support and privacy contact: [email protected]
1. Operator and scope
FairyTale is offered by the individual identified above under the project name TerraCat Games. TerraCat Games is not represented as an incorporated company. The project is developed and operated by one person, not a staffed company. These terms cover the game and related services provided by that individual; stores and third-party services have their own terms.
The game presents these terms for acceptance before play. Optional data-processing choices are separate from accepting these terms.
2. Eligibility
FairyTale is intended for players aged 13 and over. You must also meet any higher minimum age required by applicable law or the relevant store. If you cannot enter an agreement independently under your local law, a parent or guardian must participate as required. Purchases require the payer's authorisation. The game's intended audience is separate from platform content ratings and legal requirements for consent to personal-data processing.
Distribution is planned worldwide where the game is available through supported stores, subject to local laws and platform restrictions. Availability in every country is not guaranteed.
3. Permission to play
Subject to these terms, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable permission to use the game for entertainment. The game, its code, artwork, music and branding remain owned by their respective rights holders. No ownership of those materials is transferred by playing or purchasing an item.
Do not redistribute the game or its assets without permission. These terms do not restrict uses allowed by mandatory law, including any applicable exceptions.
4. Accounts and progress
Online features may use an anonymous Unity player identity or a supported Google Play Games link. Keep access to your device and linked platform account secure. Do not buy, sell, share or transfer player accounts.
Some progress is stored locally and some may be synchronised to cloud services. Losing local data or platform access can prevent recovery, especially for unlinked profiles. Cloud synchronisation can be delayed or unavailable. Contact support about recovery instead of assuming that reinstalling will restore every record.
5. Fair play and submitted content
Do not cheat, manipulate scores or purchases, exploit bugs to obtain rewards, interfere with servers, bypass security, impersonate another player, harass people, or submit unlawful content. Use appropriate player names and support messages. Report significant exploits privately through support.
Competition eligibility, scoring, timing and reward conditions are described in the game. Invalid or manipulated results may be excluded. Support messages and other submitted content must be yours to provide; you permit their processing to handle the relevant feature or request.
6. Purchases and virtual items
The game may offer optional purchases of virtual currency, characters, equipment or other entitlements. The applicable store displays the price, currency and purchase conditions before confirmation. Purchase availability varies by platform and version.
Virtual items are for use within the game, are not deposits or financial assets, and have no right to cash redemption unless expressly required by law. They may not be traded outside the game. A purchase grants the described in-game entitlement rather than ownership of the game or its servers.
For payment errors, missing purchases or refunds, contact the relevant store and game support. Applicable store procedures and mandatory consumer rights apply. These terms do not impose a blanket “no refunds” rule or waive statutory remedies.
7. Advertising and third-party services
Advertising may appear in supported versions. Rewarded placements offer the stated reward after the required completion is confirmed; other ad formats may depend on the game's configuration. An unavailable or interrupted ad may not produce a reward. Report persistent reward problems to support.
Third-party ads, platform links and services are provided by their respective operators. Their terms and privacy information apply to their own services. Our responsibility under mandatory law is not excluded by referring to a third party.
8. Privacy and notifications
The privacy policy explains account, save, competition, support, purchase, advertising and diagnostics processing. It is a notice, not a blanket waiver of data-protection rights. Optional processing must have its own lawful ground; agreement acceptance does not substitute for consent where a separate choice is required.
Device notification permissions can be managed in operating-system settings. You can request account-related deletion through the route described on the deletion page using the published email contact.
9. Updates, test versions and availability
The game may receive balancing changes, bug fixes, new content or changes to online features. Maintenance, network conditions and platform changes may affect availability. There is no contractual uptime percentage, continuous support coverage, fixed update schedule, or guarantee of permanent operation. These limits do not remove any legally required maintenance, conformity or remedy obligations.
Clearly labelled test versions: beta and preview builds may contain unfinished features and compatibility issues. Any planned test-progress reset will be disclosed before participation. Calling a build a beta does not waive rights relating to paid content or required consumer protections; no reset of paid entitlements is authorised merely by this paragraph.
Material changes affecting paid entitlements or these terms will be handled with any notice and remedies required by applicable law. If a service is discontinued, relevant consumer rights remain available.
10. Restrictions and termination
Access or competition participation may be restricted to address cheating, abuse, security threats or legal obligations. Measures should be proportionate to the circumstances. Contact support to dispute a restriction; where appropriate, relevant evidence will be reviewed.
You may stop playing at any time. Uninstalling does not automatically erase online records or create a purchase refund. Data deletion has a separate process.
11. Responsibility and consumer rights
Personal entertainment. FairyTale is intended for personal entertainment. It is not provided for business-critical use, income generation, or professional reliance. No promise is made that playing will produce earnings, a particular ranking, or a particular outcome.
Scope of responsibility. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not responsible for losses arising solely from your unauthorised modifications, misuse, failure to secure your account, or events outside the developer's reasonable control. This does not excuse a failure to take legally required precautions or provide required remedies.
Types of loss. To the extent a limitation is lawful and fair in your circumstances, responsibility does not extend to losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the relevant agreement was made, or to business losses arising from use of a game supplied for personal entertainment. This is not a waiver of compensation that applicable law entitles you to receive.
Mandatory exceptions. No limitation applies to fraud, intentional wrongdoing, gross negligence, injury or death where liability cannot lawfully be limited, or statutory consumer and data-protection rights.
Use ordinary care to protect your device and account. Service failures should be reported so they can be investigated. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, misrepresents statutory warranties, or removes mandatory consumer or data-protection rights.
The developer's individual status does not limit rights or remedies that applicable law guarantees to you.
12. Questions, disputes and changes to terms
Contact the operator first with questions or complaints. Any applicable right to use a consumer authority, dispute-resolution body or competent court remains available. The operator is based in Serbia. Applicable mandatory consumer protections and access to competent courts remain unaffected.
Updates will show their version and effective date. Where required, notice or renewed acceptance will be provided. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest applies only to the extent permitted by law.
